Girls Cross Country Season Opens at 15 Mile Relay

On Saturday (Aug. 16th), our girls’ team competed in the 3rd Annual 15 Mile Relay and brought home a 2nd place finish! With a time of 2:09:14.60, the Flames proudly placed right behind Boiling Springs (1:53:14.74) and ahead of Thomas Jefferson Classical (2:15:54.99). We’re so proud of the hard work, perseverance, and team spirit our girls showed on the course.

More than just running, this team embodies what the Spartanburg Flames are all about: building a community rooted in faith, supporting one another as sisters in Christ, and striving together toward excellence on and off the course. Congratulations to our girls’ team on a fantastic race — and here’s to many more to come this season!
